Labor Day wasn’t just created for beers and burgers and paid time off. Since 1894 the whole U.S. has taken the first Monday of September to remember the hard work it takes to continue the great experiment we call this country, and the people who do that hard work.
So to every North Carolinian who builds things, breaks things, makes things, or otherwise contributes to our economic success with your labor: thank you. Now...off to the grill with you!
